Matua Ātawhai | Parenting Programme

  • Far North REAP 33 Puckey Avenue Kaitaia 0410 New Zealand (map)

This free six-session programme is delivered weekly and supports parents, caregivers and grandparents raising tamariki / children.

Mātua Atawhai brings whānau together in a safe, respectful space to kōrero, learn, and grow, with support that’s practical, culturally grounded, and real.

During the six weeks, we will cover Te Whare Tapa Whā and the six Takai Principles.

Meet the Facilitator:

Tena koutou katoa, Ko Kareponia toku kainga, no Ngati Kahu ahau.

Ko Atawhai ahau | My name is Atawhai.

He mama ahau ki aku tamariki tokowhitu, he hoa rangatira, he tuahine, he whaea keke hoki.

I am a mama of seven beautiful tamariki, a partner, a sister, and an aunty to many. These roles shape who I am and guide the way I show up to support other whānau in our community.
