Course Description:
Two 2.5-hour sessions designed to build your skills in Excel formulas and show you how to turn a simple spreadsheet into a powerful tool for combining and summarising data.
You’ll also get an introduction to Power Query - an Excel feature that lets you automate data tasks without coding. Learn how to import data from sources like CSV files, other spreadsheets, and PDFs, then clean, combine, and summarise it with ease. Once set up, updating your data is quick and simple with just a few clicks.
Learning Outcomes:
An understanding of why formulas are useful.
An introductory knowledge of some key formulas (Sum, subtotal, filter, sort, xlookup)
An awareness of Power Query and what it can do.
An introductory knowledge of Power Query and how to use it.
