This wānanga introduces learners to Māori traditions through weaving, storytelling, and art-making. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of Matariki (Māori New Year) while creating your own meaningful pieces.

Learn basic weaving techniques and create a kono (woven basket)
Design and create Matariki-inspired artwork
