Community Coaching Programme

with Mangonui Netball Centre

The Community Coaching Programme is a 8-week programme designed to support learner competncey to go forward and complete their Level 1 Community Coach Award with Netball New Zealand. This programme combines the Netball New Zealand CCA Level 1 framework with a community-learning approach that supports confidence, communication, leadership, digital learning and practical coaching capability.

Learners will:

• Apply Netball Smart principles to preparation, warm up, cool-down, movement, training and injury prevention

•Teach and develop fundamental attacking, defensive and shooting skills.

• Understand basic selection processes, criteria, communication, and player profiling.

• Reflect on their own coaching practice and identify continuing professional development goals.

• Use digital tools and online resources to support coaching learning and communication.

• Demonstrate transferable leadership, communication, presentation, planning, and teamwork skills.
