Confident Speaking- Six Week Programme
Far North REAP's Confident Speaking Programme is a free adult education course designed to help you develop practical public speaking and communication skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Whether you're speaking at work, presenting in a meeting, sharing ideas within your community, or simply wanting to feel more confident expressing yourself, this course gives you the tools and practice to become a stronger communicator.
Develop Confidence Through Adult Education and Practical Learning
Public speaking can be challenging for many people. The fear of speaking in front of a group, finding the right words, or worrying about making mistakes often prevents people from sharing their ideas with confidence.
Our free workshops and adult education programmes provide a safe learning environment where you can develop your skills at your own pace, receive encouragement, and gain valuable speaking experience.
No previous experience is required—just a willingness to learn and participate.
Starts Thursday 30 July - ends Thursday 3 September 2026
What You'll Learn in the Confident Speaking Programme
This practical programme focuses on the two key elements of successful public speaking:
Creating well-structured and engaging speech content.
Delivering speeches confidently and effectively.
Throughout the course, you'll participate in practical exercises and deliver both prepared and impromptu speeches to build confidence and experience.
